Executive and Leadership Coaching is a process that involves guiding individuals or teams to achieve their goals and maximise their potential. It is a powerful tool for enhancing leadership skills, improving communication, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Executive coaching typically involves working with a coach who has expertise in leadership development, organisational behaviour, and human psychology. The coach helps the individual or team identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan for improvement.
Effective leadership coaching can lead to numerous benefits, including increased productivity, better decision-making, and improved employee engagement. It can also help individuals and teams develop a growth mindset, which is essential for success in today's rapidly changing business environment.
One of the most important aspects of leadership coaching is the focus on self-awareness. By understanding their own strengths and weaknesses, leaders can better understand how they impact others and identify areas for improvement.
This can lead to more effective communication, better relationships with team members, and ultimately, greater success.
Leadership coaching is a valuable investment for individuals and organisations looking to enhance their leadership skills and create a positive workplace culture.
With the right guidance and support, individuals and teams can unlock their full potential and achieve their goals.
Coaching is the art of facilitating another person’s learning, development, well-being and performance. Coaching raises self-awareness and identifies choices. Through coaching people are able to find their own solutions, develop their own solutions, develop their own skills, and change their own attitudes and behaviours. The whole aim of coaching is to close the gap between people’s potential and their current state

Executive Coaching Meeting Format
If you decide to progress with coaching, most people commit to a package of four to six coaching meetings to gain maximum benefit. However, one-off meetings are also used where someone wants to focus on a specific and often urgent issue.
A formal coaching session of 60 minutes is normally arranged on a monthly basis with potential 'catch up' discussions where required.
Recognising work and life demands I provide flexible times and ways to access coaching - each coaching session is a dialogue between my client and me either in-person, video conference or telephone.
My approach to coaching leaders, managers and teams
I see coaching as a collaborative, partnership process between the coachee and coach involving the elements of enquiry, learning and action.
Importantly, your coaching experience will be highly structured and responsive to you and your unique situation.
The two 'gifts' of coaching are I believe; protected time with someone, 1 - who provides a safe confidential space and 2 - who listens to you with a non-judgemental curiosity.
A skilled coach is able to provide the safe environment, time and appropriate challenge and questioning to support their client to identify the challenges they face, what the causes of those blocks are and create a plan of action to achieve their identified goal.
A coach will definitely not 'teach' or you how to be a good leader or manager and will not tell you what to do.
Coaching is not a passive process and requires 100% commitment from the coachee.
Be prepared to be challenged in a safe, supported environment. You must be prepared to have a trusting and open relationship with your coach if you are to gain from the experience.
I use a range of coaching approaches and techniques to allow me to facilitate each client or group with the most appropriate and effective ways to allow for maximum effectiveness and benefit of every coaching conversation.
I know the difference good coaching can make to individuals doing the difficult work of leading and managing while also wanting to be the best version of themselves.
I have chosen to be an Executive Coach because I want to make a difference to the lives of busy senior managers, business owners, directors and CEOs.

The coaching relationship
Central to effective coaching is the relationship between you and your coach. The coaching relationship is built on trust and confidentiality.
Before entering into an agreement to provide coaching it is essential that we engage and discuss the focus for your coaching work and at the end of this initial first meeting (normally 30 minutes) either party can decide not to progress to a coaching relationship. There is no obligation and this meeting is provided at no costand I won't be offended if you decide I am not the coach for you.
Executive Coaching can support you with a range of skills development, behaviour change, confidence, communication and team skills for example.
There are numerous research reports that identify the real world benefits and return on investment to individuals, teams and organisations from accessing executive coaching.
